The gallery is full of a wealth of photographs to give a real insight into the rich and varied experiences the children have in our school. Have a look at some of the wonderful things we do at our school by selecting the links from the gallery menu.
We receive many thank you cards and letters from visitors to the school. Here are a couple that arrived recently. These echo the opinion of many people.
MUSIC IN SCHOOL
In Reception the children are given many opportunities to listen to music. Each day in the Autumn Term they also participate in Dough Disco. The children each have a piece of playdough and they listen to the music and dance at the same time. They develop the muscles in their hands and fingers whilst having fun. Have a look at our photographs.
Children across the school have music opportunities in the curriculum. This year, following the Charanga Music Scheme, the children in Year Two have already been learning to create sounds on a glockenspiel and play particular notes.
The children in Year 5 are learning to play the ukulele, they are learning quickly and are having fun too.
‘Samba’ is the theme of the Year 6 music lessons. This is a new addition to the curriculum and the children are enjoying the experience. Have a look at the photographs below, more will be added in due course.
